Having a bigger rug would make a world of difference. My current classroom rug is not big enough to seat all of my students comfortably. Since my students are seated too closely, it becomes a distraction for the students and makes it harder for them to focus. Another reason this rug would benefit the students is because each student would have his/her own square to sit on. Having their own square to sit on would not only allow the students to be more comfortable, but it would allow for more learning to take place. More space + comfort = Better learning.
