Being able to make our eyes and hands work together may seem easy to an adult but as a child it isn't a skill that is easily mastered without a lot of practice. Pre-k students need a variety of hands-on tools, toys, and equipment to really get their coordination abilities and muscles all working together. I am beginning my 30th year in Michigan's largest urban public school district and still loving every minute of it! The area in which I educate young minds is a low income community. The unemployed outnumber the employed and the crime rate is high.

About my class
