Our students do have access to some technology, but we do not have any tablets for them to work on. We need one to do many of the projects that I have planned this year. We can use it like a camera to document our plays, listen to our own reading for fluency as well as use reading apps. Many of these students are new to the USA and do not speak English. An ipad would help these student translate and learn sooner than they can now. They can feel more comfortable in the class and it will make the transition much easier.
