My students desperately need sports equipment to enrich their Physical Education class as well as provide opportunities for exercise during Recess and Lunch. With the introduction of materials, such as basketballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, bases, and scoops, my students will have the opportunity to practice and master new skills that will provide them with strong bodies and positive mindsets. Physical Education class can have a huge impact on the way my students view exercise and health. By engaging them in positive and interactive activities, they are more likely to want to participate and go outside of their comfort zone. This can lead to interest in sports and fitness activities outside of school as well. Healthy bodies help build healthy minds!
