Funding this project will bring so much joy to my students. Many of the students in our classroom are struggling learners who are performing lower than their peers. In order for me to increase their academic achievement, I want to roll out centers through technology. They LOVE anything that has to do with technology and any time I present them material using a new type of technology, their attention is even more focused than usual! With these five iPads, I will give one to each small group and they will have time to increase many skills! As the students are working with the IPads, I will have a time to work one on one with the most struggling ones. I have seen so many great ideas to use iPads in the classroom, but I feel that my students are missing these opportunities because we don't have as much funding as other schools. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future.
