This is our first year with personalized learning. We have come to learn that different seating for the kiddos can help enhance their willingness to learn and their comfort in the classroom! I am asking for cube chairs, beanbags and wobble chairs as well as soft seats to not only brighten the room but give lots of opportunity to get comfortable while reading and at literacy centers as well as math or science. I want my kindergarteners to come into the classroom and dive into their learning. Allowing the students to move about the classroom and sit however they feel comfortable will hopefully engage them to produce their best work. I think this can help those Learners who can't sit in a chair yet because their little bodies love to move! I would like them to pick a seat and get to work!
