My students will have many opportunities and materials to be creative, have fun, and build STEM ( science, technology, engineering, math) projects that will also open their eyes to the wonderful careers involved. There will be a different emphasis each month for my students to research, design, and carry out. They will also learn about real adults who have careers in these areas to make my students aware of potential jobs when they graduate. Our school does a STEM fair in the spring every year. My students will be experts on STEM by that point and will be able to create their own unique project after practicing with these materials. They will also become experts on the current events by being exposed to different reading materials. They will be able to read about things around the world, animals and their status in the animal world, sports and current players, and practice their reading skills.
