Welcome to our classroom! I have the pleasure of teaching 8th grade Social Studies, Leadership, and CCR (College and Career Readiness). My students are intellectually curious, concerned about the world they live in, and dream big. I teach a cross-section of students who represent the cultural, economic, religious, and social diversity of the Peninsula. My school has been designated as a low socio-economic school. Approximately 40% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of our students speak English as a second language. I strive to make education relevant to my students, and give them the tools they need to become life-long learners.
