Flexible seating helps students advocate for their learning. Because we are an arts school, our students do not have a typical physical education class. Their energy often manifests itself in the classroom, decreasing focus and motivation. Studies have shown students who are offered flexible seating (wobbly stools/ball chairs) show improvement in motivation and engagement. They are also able to use up more excess energy, leaving space for rigorous learning. We have a number of active students who would benefit from getting their wiggles out. Your donation would make a world of difference in our class. Thank you for your consideration!
