By each student having their own whiteboard I will be able to easily assess their knowledge of the topic we are working on. This can be done in some many different ways. However, my past students favorite method was "showing up" their whiteboards. By them using this method it will make it easier for me to quickly scan the answers, and assess where the areas they are struggling in quicker. I can also use the whiteboards during small groups and one-on-one time. Another added bonus of using whiteboards is that my students in the past have always had fun learning through using them. My small group table currently does not have enough chairs, which is why the stools are on the list.
