Our fifth grade students will spend 3 days and 2 nights learning in the great outdoors! While at The Outdoor School, our students will group up and ban together to work to accomplish daily goals and challenges they set for themselves. Students will experience learning in a unique outdoor setting and bring back with them newfound experiential knowledge of science concepts, better interpersonal skills, a universal respect for all living things, and a leap in self-confidence! Being at a low income school, this trip will be the only outdoor camping experience that many of our students will ever participate in. This project will help cover the cost of bus transportation to camp.
