Mindfulness happens in a variety of ways and helping students develop this precious practice is important. This equipment will provide students with alternative ways to spend their recess and break time. Students will have an opportunity to develop social skills and build character through imaginative play. Students that wish to read or converse with friends can have a comfortable place to sit instead of sitting on the concrete or blacktop. Students will be afforded the opportunity for comfortable seating options. The utility cart will give students a chance of building responsibility and to care for school property. A generous donation of these supplies will help instill mindful practices and develop compassionate citizens.
