My students are so happy to be at school every day, but if we do not have the supplies for their projects, assignments, and lessons it creates disappointment. My school receives some Title I money, but this money cannot go to consumables. That means the items that my students use every day (paper, pencils, glue, highlighters) anything that can be used up, cannot be purchased with that money. We live in a low-income area. That means that going to the community or even parents for donations is not always an option. Parents help out when they can, but sometimes it is not enough.
