Having reading journals is a way to incorporate reading and writing naturally. Along with crayons we can use to depict the colors of our skin, I hope to begin our 1st unit ( all about self and family) by making family portraits we can frame. The interactive art book will help us to learn about famous works of art while making connections to the pieces of art and the artists who created them. I want to expose the children to something they may not normally be exposed to at home.

About my class
