Every classroom should have a whiteboard! Currently, my room does not have a whiteboard. I have 3 easels with small white boards that give me very little room to write on. My students struggle to see the agenda, notes, and school schedule. Having 2 large whiteboards in my room will allow me to create a large visual of the week at a glance. My students have Autism and they require visuals, structure, and organization in their day. Having a large display of the weekly schedule will give them comfort and make their day less stressful. They other whiteboard will be used to display my daily lesson plans, agenda, and learning outcomes. It will also serve as the main board for note taking, projecting images, and s daily bell schedule. The 2 bean bag I am requesting are going to be used as quiet time areas for my students. They enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks, and music. And most importantly sometimes they need an area to relax when they become tired or frustrated. The donations to this project will help improve the learning environment for my students and create an area much needed for students with Autism. As a special educator, I am aware of the environment that students with Autism require to be successful. I want my class to love being in their classroom! Your donations will help me create the perfect environment for my students. Thank you so much!
