The items I am requesting for my students will allow us to make our classroom the "home" away from home. The high back beanbag chairs and rockers will give the sense of comfort to be themselves and enjoy their surroundings more than just having a standard desk and chair. They will have the option and freedom to feel cozy using big fluffy pillows while reading, completing a math project or just feeling safe jotting down thoughts for a writing assignment. The requested materials will allow their creative minds to explore without boundaries because, with your support, we have created an excellent example of a home within school.
