Many of my students do not have access to technology at home. The only time they have access to technology is at school. With the budget cuts in our district, the technology we have in our school is shared amongst 400+ students. Tablets will allow for my students to develop technology skills, will be used during individualized small group instruction during centers, and allow for reading material through various apps. This will improve their school lives by allowing them to work at their own pace at their own level on the tablet. My project will make a difference because my students will be able to experience how learning and technology can go hand-in-hand and how how technology continues to shape the world.
