Students will be able to explore literacy with the use of technology. The document camera will help students interact with books, with the needed support of the special education teacher. Books can come alive with a use of a document camera. Readers are able to watch the teacher model effective reading strategies as the document camera projects the book for all to see and be apart of. A document camera can also be used throughout the school day as an interactive teaching tool. Students are able to see what the teacher is doing, as well as be provided with an opportunity to be more engaged in their learning.
