My students need more opportunities for hands on technology experience in the classroom. With these materials my students will be able to practice their typing, research, reading, and mathematical skills. Having a laptop inside the classroom that the students can access at anytime will benefit each child's learning needs. Technology is beneficial to all students because it can enhance their learning in many different ways. Not all students have access to technology at home, by having these items in the classroom students will be able to complete research projects or take home projects without worrying about where to get their information. Students will have less stress in knowing that they have access to these materials in the classroom. A laptop will allow students to type research papers, practice for computer based tests, and take advantage of online databases for all subject areas. My students will be doing science projects where they will need to document their work. Having a camera for classroom use will allow students to take pictures of their work and add them to their papers. I feel that I will be able to take advantage of all learning styles if I have these materials such as headphones readily available for student use at any time. Headphones will allow those who struggle with reading access to sites and stories that can be read to them.
