The design of the "perfect" classroom is constantly evolving and as educators we should be open to changing and enhancing our classroom in order to optimize our students' learning experience. In the past a projector and a whiteboard gave a "generic one-size-fits-all" type of education but with the technological advancements we can now push to create a learning environment that seeks to create a unique learning experience that emphasizes on the individual students' needs. Differentiated instruction is a philosophy for effective teaching that consists of considering the students' varied learning needs and developing personalized instruction so that all students in the classroom can learn effectively. The Lenovo Yoga 710 will allow me to do just that! It's versatile laptop/tablet design will allow me to jump back and forth between engaging the entire class and addressing the one student who needs the extra help. The Lenovo Yoga 710 gives me the opportunity to elegantly derive equations, solve problems, and highlight concepts. This powerful tool is sure to aid me in the creation of an environment that promotes academic achievement and ultimately instills a love for learning.
