My students all have unique needs, therefore proper eqipment is needed to meet all their abilities. I have students that are blind and deaf, visual impairments, physical disabilities , cognitive disabilities, deaf, and sensory impairments. The use of a balance beam will help the students with direction and balance. The sensory items will be beneficial for the autistic students in keeping the stimulated during my class, which reduces behavior issues. The students will benefit by your donation and be able to use all equipment to improve their physical health, fine motor skills, eye hand coordination and motor development. Some students are limited to certain activities, because our school does not have equipment for each unique disability. For instance, a beeper ball will be beneficial for my blind and deaf students. The craft project resources are useful for the students that are in wheelchairs. The project will help their fine motor skills. The scooters are an excellent device for students that have physical disabilities. The scooters allow them to control and drive without using their lower bodies.
