The materials I am looking for will help students practice appropriate ways to interact in different social situations, build self-esteem and help to make life at school less stressful. Specific books and tools will help to build their confidence when interacting with peers! Giving them the ability to speak up for themselves and to make friends. Practicing these skills in small groups with games helps them to better understand what they need to do when in a larger setting with more students. By getting into the classrooms weekly, all the students benefit from these social tools. Students learn to have empathy for others who might struggle in social situations and become more understanding to others needs.
