My 10th grade students are hungry for books. Some have disclosed that their school experience changed drastically when they entered high school because they did not have enough resources such as books to choose from. Currently, we are reading excerpts from bigger literary pieces found in the textbook which has missing pages or fall upon use. The school is not in a position financially to purchase new textbooks for all students. Your donation will ensure my students are exposed to various literary selections to further enhance their learning experience. I know that they crave to read good books, but like many teens, are shy to ask. As an educator, I know the needs of my students and I want to make sure I have the available books/resources in my classroom for their enjoyment and overall learning experience.
