My students rarely get to access technology because of two main reasons. First, our school district is small and doesn't have the funds to have one-on-one technology. Secondly, many of our families are immigrant and lower income earners, and they do not have discretionary income to purchase computers for their children to use. Having even a few more computers will give my students dramatically increased access to technology on a daily basis. The few minutes we have in computer lab once a week are just not enough to adequately train them how to effectively use technology in today's fast-paced world.
