After a few years of teaching, I moved to a new school that needed a fresh start (the school not the teacher!). We have been rebuilding our school over the last two years and the budget is TIGHT. Unfortunately, so is the tiny carpet the district was able to afford for my wiggly Kinders to sit on. A larger rug will give us the space we need so we are not cramped and squished, but will still give us the structure we need to be successful Kindergartners. Kindergartners sit on the rug for all of my direct teaching instruction, so it is truly one of the most important parts of our classroom!
