The use of Chromebooks in our classroom will make a significant impact on student learning. Students now a days are very much technology driven. They love learning new things and practicing them in a fun and exciting way. The use of reading programs on the computer brings the stories to life. Students are in love with technology! The use of Chromebooks along with headphones will enhance the teaching and learning that is going on in the classroom. It is so beneficial for the students, especially the ELL students to be able to use Chromebooks and listen to what is being read to them. They love using "Myon" to read stories about their topic of interest. The program i-Ready is also a great tool to practice many of the reading and math skills taught in the classroom. Technology is so vital now a days in the teaching and learning of our students. Additionally, a printer in our classroom would enable me to print additional re-teach supplemental material for the students that would benefit from them!
