I am asking for five Kindle Fires to use in the classroom as an online research medium, a tool for reading aloud math tests through our math program, and a resource to test and research science ideas. I'd like to provide more support for students who may need a new approach and at the same time give students who need a challenge another avenue to explore their interests and deepen their understanding. I will be taking classes next month on how to implement green screen technology and I have been exploring ways of interacting with our math curriculum online. Having these devices will open up so many opportunities in my room, that now can only be accomplished in our computer time slot once a week. Help me meet everyone's needs by using a tool that will define words as they push their reading and make remediation of phonic skills or math facts more fun.
