Students need current nonfiction materials to read and learn. It's important that my students read about currents events and materials other than chapter books. It's a challenge for students to grasp onto and enjoy nonfiction. Theses magazines bring excitement and joy to nonfiction. It also gives them materials they can take home and continue to learn and read about. They can share what they have learned ditch family and friends. This will give them a true passion for learning which I think is the goal. Nonfiction can be truly amazing if students have the correct resources available to them. Time magazine will give them these opportunities.
