I am requesting a CD player with a cassette player to create a reading /phonics center for my diverse learning students. I would also like to have a few books with CD to help my students who avoid reading to enjoy the experience of reading. I have also purchased a hooked on phonics kit, but have not been able to afford the CD player and head phones to accommodate 4 students. My students have already expressed their excitement with the possibility of reading/listening center. While Writing individualized education plans I suggest books on tape. I would like my students to have the opportunity to enjoy the reading experience and become life long readers.
