Organization is key to success, especially in the early grades. I strive to teach my students how to organize their materials and be respectful to classroom books and materials. This is most effective when there is an organized storage system for the book boxes. Our new mobile storage bin center will be perfect for this! Bridging from "learning to read" to "reading to learn" is a pivotal goal in first grade. We focus a large portion of our time on becoming confident, fluent readers. We also try to instill a love for reading in our students. These shelves will help us towards that goal.
