Every Wednesday we have Running Club. The students run on our 1/4 mile track. Last year, we had to track all 730 students' miles on paper cards. With this iPad, our running club will be advanced with technology. When making a lap around our track, students will be able to scan their personal card that will then keep record of how many laps they have completed. It is important for our students to see what they have accomplished throughout the year. The iPad also will be put to use when we do our state testing. It will make inputting all scores much easier. State testing includes sit-ups, push ups, v sit, and the mile run. Majority of our students have to be tested in each category.
