My project will help the upper grade students phonetics. They will relearn letter recognition, letter sounds and writing using phonics.Our students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, drawing, making letters and sounds, and then words! These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning letters and sounds as they make words, sentences, and hopefully connecting the sentences into a concrete paragraph. Your generous donation to our project will improve our children's ability to succeed in rigorous tasks set before them.
