These materials will expand the learning possibilities of my students. Having a variety of books in Spanish available will get them excited to start reading in Spanish. The themes in the books chosen will support the curriculum taught in the classroom; it will maximize their comprehension. Students will be able to take these books home to read with family members who speak Spanish or read to family members who are non-Spanish speakers. The cozy bean bags will increase their motivation to come to the classroom library and read with their peers as well as enjoy reading in a second language. They will be excited to take these clipboards around the room and copy the vocabulary to form their first sentences in a second language! Lastly, the writing white board will provide a space where they can practice shared writing in a second language.
