Your generosity will allow my students opportunities to expand their learning through research, independent reading, educational apps, and motivating online learning sites that reinforce concepts. The Kindles can give visual, auditory, and tactile learners a path to success. The students will be able to use a vast number of online resources to enhance their learning. My students will use Kindles to take Accelerated Reader tests or complete First in Math activities that motivates students and builds competitive spirit while increasing academic achievement. Students can build communication skills by blogging about the books they are reading and much more. When the students have access to sites such as Class Dojo or Seesaw, they can upload a portfolio of their work for sharing and use of collaborative projects. Students need voice and choice to take ownership in their learning. The use of Kindles is a pathway to this possibility.
