We all need to be aware of the impact our trash has on the planet. I teach Environmental Science in high school and I try to do just that. I want my students to fully understand their impact on the planet, and how they can minimize that. I want them to understand our global issues, and hope they'll want to change to make a better place for future generations. The "green" movement is really taking off right now, and it's such a fun time to teach this class!
