I have a new classroom that is a blank canvas. I want my students to have these requested bean bag chairs, a kids carpet to sit on, and art markers for our hands-on projects. I also need one portable speaker system for calming music and subscriptions to Scholastic News. They experience a lot of stress each day and I want them to have a peaceful, cozy environment. They will have a stimulating bur quiet place to focus in. My classroom will have art centers, reading centers, and hands-on science centers. It is a resource room where students go for small group lessons. It is a place they can go to when the regular classroom environment is too much for them and they need a place to calm down.
