Finding current, quality books to read aloud to my class can be a challenge. The books that I have chosen represent people from different cultures and backgrounds. It is important for my students to hear engaging stories from about diverse historical figures, cultures, holidays, and traditions. Many of these topics, my students have not heard of before. These books will help to open the world up for students at a time when we are social distancing, learning from home, and not having the opportunity to go out into the community.
