On the first day of school I quickly learned that all of my students were excited to be there. Some, more than others. Their excitement and joy was evident not only on their faces, but also in their feet. I thought to myself...what can I do to make sure their excitement for learning never goes and keep it from becoming a distraction? I pulled out four yoga balls and had my students rotate to use them throughout the day. As expected, they were all engaged and happy while using the four yoga balls. They begged me to find them more so they could all have one throughout the year. By donating to my classroom my students will have endless possibilities to release their energy, have fun and learn all in one. They'll have the option to use a wiggle seat, sit n play, a trampoline, a hammock, and even an inflatable chair. Imagine how excited they will be to return to school the next day and try out a different seating option!
