Having these tablets in my classroom, specifically for my students, will allow me to tier up my differentiation of literacy and math centers for my different levels of learners. The tablets provides over 200 games/apps ranging from pre-k to first grade skills. So, my lower level students will be able to play games learning the order of the alphabet and where they can hear the sounds letters of the alphabet make. My higher level students will be able to play games practicing high frequency and read a variety of online text. This technology will spark the students interest and keep them engaged because they will get to personally use the tablets while reinforcing individual skills. The headphones will allow control of noise level to maintain classroom management and cut down on distractions.
