The guitars are used to teach my students how to read and identify notes on the treble clef staff. My students learned how to play songs on the open strings. Learning how to play the guitars helped my students become more confident with learning how to read music.\r\n\r\nWhen I shared with my students that they will be learning how to play guitars, they were so exciting. The students always wanted to play a musical instrument so when I shared with them about playing the guitars, their faces lit up. Learning how to play guitars will be a experiencing that the students will never forget.\r\n\r\nI am currently teaching open strings to my fourth grade students. The students are practicing to perform at PTO for the faculty, staff, and family in January. They are very excited to how everyone what they have learned on guitars. Again I would like to thank you for making a generous donation towards my project.
