My students consist of 25 English Language Learners with a range of English proficiency levels. Many of my students are new to the country and some are new to school in general, for lack of formal education in their native countries. However they come prepared to work hard, and they are eager to learn about their peers and new environment. Students receive five lessons daily, and transitioning in a timely fashion is often a challenge in our classroom, due to lack of useful storage and the practicality of the furniture. However, our classroom is large and has great potential.
