When my students are able to return to the classroom I want to make it as fun as possible! Having hands on activities that integrate science and literature are going to get their creative little minds going. We will use the kit to explore the stars and moon phases all while using the literature to develop comprehension. When you ask a first grader what they want to be when they grow up, you will always get at least one that wants to be an astronaut or scientist. Often times science is left out because there are so many other standards to cover. With this kit I will be able to pull science and language arts together to make it a FUN and memorable experience. When you ask a first grader what they want to be when they grow up, you will always get at least one that wants to be an astronaut or scientist. This will fuel their desire!
