This project will provide students with the ability to personalize their learning in math, working in centers once a week to strengthen their knowledge of basic skills and to deepen their understanding of the concepts we are learning in class. Students will use headphones when working on the computers, avoiding classroom distractions while listening to tutorials examples, which allows them to stay focused on their learning. Students also use the white board supplies to work out the problems in their centers. This gives me a clear view of who is on point and who needs extra help. This promotes enriched group discussion when working out a complex problem. We always seem to run out of erasers and markers for everyone to work on the white boards. A well stocked classroom allows all to engage in the learning environment and not what they do not have.
