My class is loaded with English Language Learners who are far below grade level in many areas. They are eager to learn and be part of the ever-growing community of scholars. The Kindles will enhance their reading skills while the IPads will enhance their math skills. All of my students, English Language Learners and English literate, enjoy and can relate to technology. They will use these Kindles to read and eventually write about text to life content. The new math curriculum has an app that is available on IPad. Additionally, they are still learning how to adapt to being in a social environment. These technologies will allow them to share experiences and activities they might not have otherwise.
