Students these days are very techno savy. I want more technology in my room for students to be able to take Accelerated Reading test, implement Reading Rangers, use apps to increase their math fluency. Students can play math and spelling games using the OSMO, use websites such as Moby Max, Starfall, and use myON for students to read books. Using iPads will help my students increase their reading ability. Students are eager to learn when they have a hand held device to use when reading e-books. Students are engaged while having fun in the learning process. Our school doesn't have the technology needed to accommodate my students needs. Having iPads in the classroom is a great place to start!
