This year we are focusing on self-help skills. By having our own washing machine and dryer the students will learn to sort, wash, dry, measure and fold laundry. By being able to have these items in the classroom will won't have to travel outside of school to learn these skills, they will apply the skills they have learned to be successful adults. First, my students will see that they are capable of helping themselves and their family. By being able to gift them with these items to make their lives more independent they will become successful in life skills outside of school.

About my class
