Get fit as they learn! The students will use the wobble cushions, balance discs, squeeze balls, and exercise mat to combine learning with fitness; math activities like counting their exercises; health activities like how exercise make them stronger and stretchier. The wobble cushions will help children stay focused to learn throughout the day as they are portable and can be used wherever they go in the classroom small group and whole group, floor or their chair. Fitness all day! Because a good workout gets your blood flowing, more oxygen gets to your brain. And that means you can think better. Play ball or tag, go up and down stairs, climb the jungle gym, walk--it all counts as exercise. And there's almost no part of you that doesn't get better when you do it: bones, muscles, lungs, brain. You get the idea. So why not in the classroom? The cd player and cd will get the students moving and learning essential skills at the same time. Their favorite is Animal Action: moving like an animal! The books will teach them healthy food choices and which foods provide them with energy.
