This rug will provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming spot for each and every student in my room. The colors will brighten up our classroom! Each student will be given their own square to sit in. It will not only help with classroom management but allow us to dig deep into read alouds on a daily basis. I will also be able to reinforce concepts like colors and numbers using the different rug squares. The rug will provide countless opportunities for students to turn and talk, partner share, independent reading, and music and movement such as yoga and brain breaks.

About my class
