If you hear Chemistry, "fire," "explosions," "burning things," probably come to mind. In order for me to provide them with the experiences that exceed their more privileged peers, I need the tools! Obtaining these bunsen burners will allow me to not only practice lab safety around open flames, but students will also have the opportunity to practice experimental design while learning about the characteristics and properties of different elements. My students deserve high-quality science education just like any other teenager in the world. Most importantly, my students will be engaged in DOING science, not just sitting and passively learning. I am creating the future scientists of tomorrow, and it would be fantastic and greatly appreciated if you could help me create them too.
