The chairs in my music classroom are in terrible condition. Because the majority of the chairs I have are leftovers from other classrooms, they are either broken or extremely dirty. Most of the chairs are so old that they have split in the middle and are loosing the bolts needed to hold them together. It is very disturbing to see my students looking for a chair that's suitable to sit in. They should not have to worry about any of that! I am hoping to obtain new chairs in my classroom that are better suited for music students to help them develop the proper posture for singing and playing instruments.
